New Information On Aya Kiguchi And Robo-Geisha

Readers here at Monster Island News may be all to familiar with the film "Robo-Geisha", do mostly to the out of this world trailer for the film that I posted here on the site at the beginning of the month.

Well, the Japanese press has now begun following the film, centering their attention mostly on 23 year-old, pin-up queen, Aya Kiguchi, who is following in the footsteps of Yumiko Shako and Eriko Sato, by making the transition from model to Sci Fi actress.

In conjunction with this new interest in the film, the makers of "Robo-Geisha" have released the following synopsis for the film:

Yoshie (Aya Kiguchi)is the younger sister and attendant of a geisha (Hitomi Hasegawa). One day, the sisters are invited to a dinner party by a customer, the son of the president of Kageno Iron Corporation (Takumi Saito). They are kidnapped and then trained to be assassins by the company president. Yoshie, who shows promise as an assassin, then begins to doubt the motives of the group.

Okay, that synopsis made me laugh.

Does that description match what we are seeing in the preview? It may be a basic idea of what the story is, but it's a bit watered-down to say the least.

Seems that they forgot to mention that after Yoshie is captured she is turned into a cyborg, who can transform in to a tank and has razor sharp saw blades that come out of her mouth....plus about a zillion other things.

Oh, and don't forget the swords that come out of girls butts and the acidic breast milk thing. Hard to forget those.

From the released description, you would think that "Robo-Geisha" is your typical action film, which it is definitely not!
